Winter
Mt. Washington is the largest ski resort on Vancouver Island. The annual average of snowfall is usually near the top in North America. Over the past several years, it has expanded its operation and improved its highway service and lift capacity. The resort also offers an extensive system of cross country trails.
Summer
It is now trying to become a year round resort with hiking and mountain biking as part of its attraction. It also hosts various festivals and the occasional concert.
The Village
The village is a mixture of older style cabins, modern resort-style homes and condominimums. All amentities are available to those choosing to stay on the mountain at anytime in the year.
